Mathematics requirement

You must take a mathematics exam
You are exempt from the mathematics exam if you have passed AP Calculus AB or BC with a score of 4 or higher, or IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches SL / IB Mathematics: Analysis & Interpretation HL with a minimum IB grade of 5 (Turkish grade 80), or IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches HL with a minimum IB grade of 4 (Turkish grade 70).

English language requirement

You must take an English language test

Selection points

You will be granted selection points if you have a Grade Average of 80 or higher. If your grades are below this, you will not earn selection points for your final ranking.

For applicants in the final year of high school:

Your Grade Average will be calculated based on the grades of your penultimate year (the year before your final year).

For graduated applicants:

Your Grade Average will be based on the grade (Diploma Puani (Notu)) as listed on your diploma.

Additional requirements

If you are taking subjects from both the Lisé Diplomasi and the International Baccalaureate (IB) and earn an IB diploma, your school must clearly list all your IB subjecs on your grade lists. The subjects you plan to take for your IB exams should correspond those on your grade lists and the RSM diploma statement. Include subject names and levels, including languages and mathematics courses (Analysis & Approaches SL/HL or Applications & Interpretation SL/HL).
If you have or will obtain both the Lisè Diplomasi and the IB diploma, your application will be assessed according to the IB requirements. If your IB exams are in November, you must submit the results (usually released in January) by 31 January, as these results will be used for evaluation.
If you have more than one diploma alongside your national secondary school diploma (e.g., IB or American High School Diploma), your application will be evaluated based on one diploma type. If your home country diploma is not equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma, the diploma with the highest academic level will be considered.
Predicted (IB) grades are not used for the evaluation.
If you have taken the College Board AP Calculus AB or BC exam, you must provide your AP College Board score report.
You must include the RSM diploma statement in your application. This statement must be filled in by your school counselor or school representative and clearly indicate which diploma you will obtain. If you have already graduated at the time of applying, the statement is not required.
In the application, you must submit official grade lists signed by your mentor or school representative. Screenshots or self-made Word/Excel documents with your grades will not be accepted. Ensure that RSM can clearly understand how the grades were determined if your school uses a different grading system or calculations.
